These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cinema Jobs platform and services ("Service") operated by Cinema Jobs Ltd ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • One account per person - multiple accounts are prohibited
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Employer Responsibilities

  • All job postings must be for legitimate positions in the cinema exhibition industry
  • Employers must provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
  • Discrimination based on protected characteristics is strictly prohibited
  • Employers must respond to applications in a timely manner
  • All job postings are subject to review and approval

Prohibited Activities

  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
  • Spam, unsolicited communications, or marketing abuse
  • Attempting to circumvent platform security measures
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights

Content and Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a license to use it
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates our terms
  • You may not post copyrighted material without permission
  • Our platform and its features are protected by intellectual property laws
  • User-generated content must comply with our community guidelines

Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous access to our Service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates
  • Technical difficulties or system failures
  • Force majeure events beyond our control
  • Security measures or fraud prevention

We will make reasonable efforts to minimize downtime and provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance when possible.

Payment Terms

For Employers

  • Job posting fees are due before job postings go live
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
  • We accept major credit cards and bank transfers
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

For Job Seekers

Basic job search and application features are provided free of charge. Premium features may be available for a fee.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinema Jobs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Employment decisions made by users
  • Third-party actions or content
  • System downtime or technical issues

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by deleting your account through our platform. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may delete your account and associated data, though some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Before pursuing legal action, we encourage users to contact us directly to resolve any disputes through good faith negotiations.
